Here's a bit more about me:-
All About Me
At infant school I was chosen to be one of two children representing the whole school; for my skills in getting the best from people and helping them to achieve their goals. My first experience was serving as a mentor playmate to a class of children from a local special needs school; befriending and assisting in painting and arts and crafts activities. We had a lot of fun and I enjoyed meeting and helping out. In my street, I was trusted to look after the other children; often organising games, activities and trips when little more than a child myself.
Although I was quite intelligent at school I could not get my head around reading and writing which brought a lot of frustration from my teachers and family and accusations that I was being lazy, being stupid or deliberately obstructive and rebellious. Consequently, I got a lot of school reports that would say things like “should try harder”, “puts in the effort but attainment is poor”. Which was so discouraging and so began my incorrect beliefs that no matter what I did or how hard I worked I would never attain the golden prize of “being enough” for anybody. I couldn’t understand why there was such a mismatch between effort and results. I felt completely blocked. I
This led to me truly believing that I wasn’t university material and that I was incapable of achieving academic accolades and in my despair I kept choosing vocational courses or very basic jobs like retail and working in factories, thinking that these were all that I was good for. I had no self-esteem at all; I felt worthless. Does that sound familiar?
Nobody had given me any encouragement or had any interest in finding out why I was making so many mistakes. It was only as an adult, whilst at work, that I found out that I was Dyslexic and there was a valid reason for me doing the things the way that I did. It was such a relief.

This feeling made me give up accepting a place on a fashion course that I really wanted to do at the time and instead I went on a government backed training scheme where I got a certificate in distribution. This was the first place where I got any validation or recognition; it was through a talent of mine for writing poetry. My lecturer gave me the courage to attend that fashion course the year later.

Reading Louise’s book “You Can Heal Your Life” started me on my healing journey. As I experimented with and utilised her techniques and principles; I was able to utilise my talents in Complimentary Therapies with my client-based approach to benefit my clients in empowering ways.
I built up my knowledge, experience and skills in becoming a Life Coach dedicated to facilitating people getting the very best out of what they have in their lives right now and I want to share that with you.
